We do not use your photos for advertising, training external AI models, or any purpose unrelated to providing the text generation service you request.

2.2 Usage Data (Non-Identifiable)

We collect limited, non-identifiable data about how you interact with Peego to optimize the app’s performance and tailor features to user needs. This data cannot be linked to you as an individual and includes:

• Style and word count preferences: Which writing styles (e.g., “cozy diary”, “whimsical story”, “lyrical poem”) and word count ranges (e.g., 100 words, 300 words, 500 words) you select most often. This helps us prioritize adding new styles that users love and refine existing ones.
• App interaction data: How often you use Peego, the number of photos you upload per session, how long it takes for the AI to generate text (to identify and fix speed issues), and whether you save, copy, or share the generated text. This helps us improve usability and resolve technical bugs.
• Basic device information: Your device type (e.g., iPhone, Android smartphone, tablet), operating system version (e.g., iOS 17, Android 14), and app version. This ensures Peego works smoothly across different devices and allows us to roll out updates that are compatible with your system.

If you reach out to us for help (e.g., to report a bug, ask a question, or share feedback), we may collect the information you provide in your message—such as details about the issue you’re facing, screenshots you send (if any), or the email address you use to contact us (only if you include it). We do not store this communication data longer than necessary to address your inquiry.

3. How We Use Your Information

Every piece of information we collect is used for a specific, app-related purpose—and never for unrelated activities like targeted advertising. Here’s how we use your data:

Once the AI has created your personalized text and made it available to you (e.g., displayed in the app for you to save or share), we automatically delete the photos from our servers within 24–48 hours. If you choose to save the photos within Peego’s in-app gallery, they are stored locally on your device (not on our servers) and are under your control (you can delete them anytime from your device’s storage).

4.2 Storage of Usage Data

Non-identifiable usage data (e.g., style preferences, device type) is stored on our encrypted servers for a limited period—usually 6–12 months. After this time, the data is either anonymized (stripped of any details that could link it to a specific app session) or deleted. We retain this data only long enough to analyze trends, fix issues, and improve Peego’s features.

4.3 Security Measures

To protect your data, we use the following security practices:

• Encryption: All data (photos, usage data, and support communications) is encrypted both “in transit” (when being sent between your device and our servers) and “at rest” (when stored on our servers) using TLS 1.3 (for transit) and AES-256 (for storage)—the same standards used by banks and major tech companies.

• Manage generated text: You can save, copy, or delete the AI-generated text within Peego whenever you want. Deleting text from the app removes it from your device’s local storage (we do not store generated text on our servers).
• Access your data: If you want to know what information we have collected about your use of Peego (e.g., your style preferences or device type), you can contact us at the email address below, and we will provide you with a clear, easy-to-understand report of this data (free of charge).
• Request data deletion: If you want us to delete any data we have stored about you (e.g., usage data or support communications), you can send a request to our support email, and we will delete the data within 7 business days (unless we are required by law to retain it for a longer period).
• Stop data collection: If you no longer want Peego to collect any data, you can simply uninstall the app from your device. Uninstalling Peego will end all data collection and ensure we do not collect any further information about you.
